健康教育对学生身心健康的影响及其作用机制——基于CEPS面板数据的实证研究

Effects of Health Education on Students’ Physical and Mental Health and Its Mediating Mechanisms: Empirical Study Based on CEPS Panel Data

摘要: 健康教育是体育与健康课程的重要组成部分,关乎学生体育核心素养的培养及健康成长。基于中国教育追踪调查数据(CEPS),参考Grossman健康生产函数,运用面板数据双向固定效应模型分析健康教育对学生身心健康的影响及其作用机制。结果表明:(1)健康教育对学生身心健康具有显著正向影响;(2)其作用机制表现为健康教育通过促进学生参与课外体育锻炼而对学生身心健康产生正向影响;(3)健康教育对学生身心健康的影响存在显著的异质特征。具体表现为:对西部地区学生身心健康的促进作用大于中部地区与东部地区;对乡村地区学生身心健康促进作用大于城市地区;对女性学生的身心健康促进作用大于男性学生。基于以上结果,提出以下建议:贯彻落实“健康第一”的指导思想,重视健康教育实施与评估;推动体育与健康教育深度融合,充分发挥体育锻炼的健康效应;因地制宜调整健康教育实施侧重点,推动不同区域健康教育的均衡发展;关注学生生长发育的性别差异,适时适度调整健康教育的模式。

Abstract:

Health education is an important component of P.E. and health curriculum, which is related to the cultivation of the students’ core physical literacy and healthy growth. Based on the data from the China Education Tracking Survey, a panel data two-way fixed-effects model with reference to Grossman’s health production function was built to analyze the effects of health education on students’ physical and mental health and its mediating mechanisms. The results showed that health education had a significant positive effect on the students’ physical and mental health. The mechanism was that health education had a positive impact on the students’ physical and mental health by promoting the students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise. The impact of health education on the students’ physical and mental health had significant heterogeneous characteristics, which were as follows: the physical and mental health promotion effect on the students in the western region was greater than that in the central and eastern regions.The physical and mental health promotion effect on the students in rural areas was greater than that in urban areas; and the physical and mental health promotion effect on female students was greater than that on the male students. Based on the above results, countermeasures were to implement the guiding principle of “health first”, to emphasize the implementation and evaluation of health education, to promote the in-depth integration of P.E. and health education to give full play to the health effects of physical exercise, to adjust the focus of health education implementation according to local conditions to promote the balanced development of health education in different regions, to pay attention to gender differences in the students’ growth and development, and to adjust the curriculum model for health education at the right time and in the right manner.
